What is
Padel?
Padel is a racket sport with elements of tennis and squash. Padel is played single or double on an artificial grass field (10x20m) enclosed by a glass wall. The wall keeps the ball in play and eliminates dead game moments, making the game attractive and accessible. Moreover, the basic techniques are easy to learn. Padel is a combination of promotions, spectacle, long rallies and especially a large portion of FUN!

The padel court
Dimensions and fence
A padel terrain measures 10mx20m and is enclosed by a combination of glass walls and metal nets of 3m-4m high. The fence may be used during the game, making padel fast, intensive but also accessible.
Artificial grass
We always opt for the best and latest generation of artificial grass for maximum comfort, safety and performance. Our artificial grass achieves all World Padel Tour certifications and is also maintained weekly.
Video recording
All fields are equipped with cameras which record the entire match. All recordings can be viewed afterwards for free on the YouTube channel of your local center.
Multiple courts
Each centre contains a minimum of 4 padel courts. Every centre lives and breathes padel. GARRINCHA® is primarily a meeting place where athletes share and exchange experiences. “Every game is a home game.”

Padel equipment
Padel racket
A padel racket consists mainly of carbon. A padel racket contains an unlimited number of holes and a cord to secure the racket to the wrist.
Padel ball
We play with a padel ball. This is very similar to a tennis ball. Slightly smaller and with slightly less atmospheric pressure. This leads to a slightly slower flying ball.
